MAC Primped Out Lip Look Bag in Lavish Coral

So if you didnt believe that i was behind in my blogs this should be some good evidence! I had made a pretty large purchase from MAC when they released Glamour Daze and their Look Bags. The last item to come in somehow wound up being left out of my prior reviews. So here it is, MAC Primped Out Lip Look Bag in Lavish Coral!

Let me start by saying, this really didnt look like coral to me. If i had to describe this bag i would have described it as nude, fleshy, soft, pinkish tan. Not coral. This set includes a Cremesheen lipstick in Shy Girl, a half sized Lip Pencil in Boldly Bare, and a Cremesheen Glass in Kiss Me Softly. Of course these items were packed in a cute little pink and black plastic animal print, purse shaped makeup bag.

Boldly Bare Lip Pencil-
This nude pencil applied a bit darker then i expected (not a bad thing at all). If you are light skinned a nude lip liner that is a little darker or even a little pinker than your natural tone will help you from having your lips look washed out or having that "concealer" lip look. I applied this just on the outside of my lip line and fount this to really compliment both my lip color and my natural skin tone. I found this pencil to glide on smooth with no tugging. It can be used alone to fill out your lips for a matte nude look or to line your lips before a nude/pinky nude lip color.

Shy Girl (Cremesheen)-
This shade was packaged in the sleek, Glamour Daze, style tube which is all shiny black. This shade is a creamy and neutral beige. It applies creamy yet opaque and felt very smooth on my lips. I personally did not find this shade drying nor did it wear off for a good 4 hours through light eating and drinking. Because it is a soft beige i feel it could suit any skin tone and might go well with a smokey eye or even just a winged eye look to go with the vintage feel of this collection.

Kiss Me Softly Cremesheen Glass-
This creamy, milky, soft peach has a bit of shimmering pearl. Does apply on the sheer side but adds a nice shimmer to both bare lips and over a lipstick. I found this lip gloss smooth and non sticky. I loved the little bow tie on the side of the tube which goes with the theme of the Glamour Daze collection.
