I bought these on random impulse from someone who had an overstock of them. While they are a pretty old products, i believe from 2010/2011, i loved the color scheme. NYX is a brand that has been impressing me more and more over the years. Going from an overly powdery, under pigmented, shadows and sticky, funky tasting lip glosses, to a high quality brand in just a short amount of years is always something that impresses me when i think about it. When i first got into cosmetics and was looking to branch out of the boring shades available in my local drugstore i chose NYX. This was around the same time i was using chapstick as an eye lid primer, my point is we all learn and improve and NYX is improving by leaps and bounds every year. I look at this product and compare it with my more recent products by them and i am just wowed. Anyway before i ramble on any more check out these swatches!
These shadows are housed in a sleek black case which has a mirror running along the interior top and the shadows along the interior bottom. Each one holds 5 shades and two brushes. I love that these have the little outline of the palm tree. It makes shuffling through palettes a bit quicker when i can easily identify one.
I Dream of Barbados-
This palette contains a set of 5 very soft shades. A greyed lilac, dark grey, soft pink, a silver, and a lavender. These shades blend very well together and compliment each other. There is a medium amount of fallout and they do not wear as long on the eyes, maybe 4 hours before fading even when using primer. These shades are good for a short day, of if you don't mind your shadows fading slightly. The pigmentation is medium.

I Dream of St. Lucia-
When i think of The Caribbean islands i think of bright and beautiful colors, and this right here is spot on. I Dream of St. Lucia gives you a great variety of very bright colors. These would be more appropriate to wear in spring and summer, but it is always fun to break the rules of fashion and wear them whenever you damn well please. These have a good pigmentation, intense in shade, medium amount of fallout, fade after about 4 hours even over primer. I love this combination of colors, i wish they were just a little higher in quality.
