It is official Keshia Kaoir, instead of addressing her outraged customers, has started to block them. I have always praised her products for being different, great for all skin colors, and high quality. After she raised her products and hyped up the glitzstick which turned out to be nothing more than high priced glitter pots i expressed my outrage on facebook, twitter, this blog, and on instagram. She has since blocked me for exposing this.
I am understanding to the fact that maybe her supplier could not product multi-color glitzsticks like the gold and silver one she previously had available or perhaps it was her ideal all along for it to be a glitter pot. My point is she was not upfront with her customers. Cheap sponge applicators and cosmetic glitter should not be sold for 12 dollars and made to seem like a unique product. This is not a glitzstick this is a pot of glitter that takes a while to apply to the lips. It is not unique to her lipsticks as she says, and it will not only stick to her lipsticks. This is the kind of propaganda which is what shows me and other people that she is trying to fool her customers. I have always praised her marketing since it was always done smart, always wearing her product, and really loving it. But treating your fan base like they are stupid and then blocking them when they disagree with your new product because well, you messed up, is beyond unprofessional.
For these reasons i will not longer be purchasing Kaoir products nor will i go out of my way to feature them here or on my blog. If you still like her products that's fine. I ask nothing more of my readers than simply know what your buying. If you want to buy it because it is her brand then go for it. I buy a lot of things from MAC that i know i can buy dupes of at smaller prices but i buy it because its MAC. So to each their own.

Snookilicious by Ka'oir Review and Swatch
Look what came in the mail! That's right, yet another order from Ka'oir. I love this brand. Keshia Kaoir is a genius when it comes to cosmetics. She gives bold girls exactly what they want and what they can't find in drugstores. She picks up where MAC leaves off and she spreads the message of confidence and beauty.
What to check out her whole line of cosmetics please click here!
The product i decided to buy is a new shade release. Ka'oir has paired up with yet another celebrity for yet another fabulous pink (the first was Trina for Neon Rockstar which is now discontinued). This time the celebrity is Snooki (not a fan) and the color is a bright, almost cotton candy, pink called Snookilicious (love it!). This applies opaquely and appears matte. With one swipe my lips were covered in a beautiful shade of pink. No need to double swipe. You get full cover payoff with this color. It feels a little chalky due to high pigmentation but i like my lipstick to feel this way, especially if it is matte. If you don't like chalky feeling lipstick apply chap stick on your lips before applying or add lip gloss on top! This shade is a vibrant pop of color so if you are dark or light it will appear on your lips as it does in the tube, there are no surprises here.

The new tube is a nice touch. I feel like it is more stable and the cap stays on better. I have to be a critic and mention that this is the second time that Ka'oir's tubes have reminded me of NYX. The first time with the see through middle which NYX had been using for quite some time, and now with the lipstick shade at the bottom for quick identification which NYX has also been using for quite some time. Other brands have started to do this though so determining who copied who somewhat gets blurred.

I also like the Snookie signature on this product. While i don't personally care for her or Jersey Shore it is a nice personal touch. This is the first shade that is geared more towards lighter skinned girls and considering the market it is kind of on point. I personally think any girl of any skintone can pull off any shade from her collection with confidence. This is a great product, a great brand, and if you love girly lipstick that really pops this product needs to be in your collection.
You can pick it up here!
