January Wantable.co Jewelry Box Review
In January i received my second Jewelry Box from Wantable.co. While the first box promised up to 5 items of vintage inspired jewelry, the box for January was revamped. This box promised 3-4, trendy pieces of jewelry. I was a little taken back at the reduction but no price change. I contacted Wantable and they let me know they wanted to raise quality and not quantity. This would have been great had a ring not broken the moment i slid it down my finger (This ring was replaced, see replacement below)
This subscription costs $36 dollars. Every month you will receive 4-5 (according to the current site information the amount of jewelry has increased back to the original amount) shipping is included. The boxes ship out fast, contain high quality items that are suited to your style and wants. You take a little quiz to determine your tastes so that the items are more personally catered to you. If you aren't up to committing there is also an option to just buy the box for 40$. There are skip options as well. If you ever have a problem, the customer service is polite and responds fast. You can sign up here!
What i got in January -
A silver bangle bracelet- This silver bangle bracelet is extremely reflective and i love its little details.
Geometric Two Finger Ring- This ring had an elastic band snap as soon as it slid it down my finger. My ring size is 6 1/2 to 7 so i was surprised at how this snapped so fast considering my finger size. Overall i did like this ring but the opal design on the silver started to lift up off the glue within two days of wear (even with one side broken i attempted to wear) This piece was the only one lacking in quality and i did receive a replacement.
Emerald Gemstone Gold Ring- I loved the simplicity of this ring. The color of the year but not over done. Just perfect.
Geometric Gold Triangle Necklace- This long necklace is dainty and trendy. Small enough to be feminine but big enough to still make a statement.
Overall i really like this subscription. The pieces really suit my style profile. I love how fast the items are shipped to me, the price point is fair for the items, any problems are addressed fast, and unlike sties like Jewelmint you get enough pieces for a look or two!

Wantable Co December 2012 Makeup Box Review and Swatches
Back in December Wantable.co had a fantastic deal to promote their new makeup and jewelry boxes. Buy one box and give two to friends. I bought myself a Jewelery box and sent one makeup box to my friend Krys and the other to my son so he could give it to me! I wanted to get a whole feel for Wantable since i was a little skeptical about both boxes. The makeup box arrived super fast and i was pleased with the presentation. I liked the range of products but i think there are many things they need to work on. For starters before you receive your box (you can opt for a subscription at $36 a month which can be paused or skipped at any time or buy boxes when you want for $40.) you take a beauty profile survey so that the products sent are products you will enjoy. Questions such as eye color hair color and even which products you don't want are included in this survey. With this being said i was confused why i received products for medium and dark skin when i am a light skinned individual and filled that out. I wound up loving the shades but it is worth noting. Before the package arrived a list of products was emailed. On the list was a nail polish that was absent from this box (there was a lipstick though, which was also marked for dark skin). I contacted customer service and they were kind enough to send the one that supposed to be included along with an extra one. I appreciate a good customer service.
My Face Cosmetics Slinky Metal Liquid Liner-
I liked this product because it applys well and has good color payoff.
MiA BelleZZa Mineral Pressed Blush Melon
This blush was a bit coral but overall it applys well. It isn't too soft and has a matte finish. It isn't the most unique product i have ever tried but it was pretty good quality for a brand i have never heard of before.
Lip Pop Gloss Hey Baby-
This gloss was very sparkly and pink so i was able to over look that it was for medium to dark skin complexion. It glided smoothly on my lips and was very sheer.
Swagger Highlighting Powder Champagne in the Bubble Bath-
For starters i absolutely love the packaging. Secondly this sheer highlighting powder suited my skin perfectly. Sometimes i like to use highlighting powders over blush to soften them so i did that in these swatches. I love how much it softened melon while also giving the area around a nice illumination.
Swagger Loose Eyeshadow West Side-
Another adorably packaged item. This dense eyeshadow has great pigmentation. I applied it dry without primer and it had some serious staying power. Not to mention a little goes a long way.
Sugar Mama- Gigabite
This lipstick i assume was sent in error since it wasn't on the list. Another medium to dark product, this lipstick is a soft darkened beige. I like how it applys creamy and soft but still has good pigmentation. It didn't bleed but it did fade pretty fast. It is a nice everyday shade.
\\
Lil' Bling Chrome Nail Polish Gilt-y
This item was supposed to be included in my original box however it was missing. Customer service was kind enough to not only send me the missing one but another nice metallic shade by Color Club to try out. I really appreciate the little things that a company does.
As
extras i received Spadro Perfume samples and Kai Samples- to be honest
these smelled nice but they weren't something i would go out of my way
to purchase.
Overall while i enjoyed most of these items i have to say that i honestly cannot justify $36 dollars a month. I love discovering new brands but i can do that with subs like Ipsy and only pay 10 dollars a month for mostly full sized items. If i had less subscriptions i probably would have subscribed to the makeup box but right now i cannot justify it. I do however find their jewelry box lovely and it is nice to know at at any time i can purchase a box for 40$. You can check out Wantable makeup boxes or jewelry boxes at Wantable.co

Wantable Co December Vintage Glam Jewlery Box
In December Wantable.co had a fantastic deal. Buy one box and get two, yes TWO, free to send to friends to try out their new and amazing makeup and jewelry boxes. I have so many makeup subscriptions that i thought a jewelry subscription would be fantastic. I know there are other options such as Jewelmint but with those subscriptions you get maybe 1 or 2 pieces. I can't justify that. With this subscription you get 4-5 pieces every month. Best of all you can fill out a type of beauty profile so you get products you will enjoy tailored for your likes and dislikes! The shipping is fast and every time i have contacted customer service i have received a quick and friendly response.
The first item i received was a long black velvet ribbon. Perfect for making into a choker, headband, and even a bracelet. I love how this piece can be used so many ways to suit different styles and looks.
Gold Key Necklace-
I adore key jewelery. This dainty necklace suits my style perfectly. The small stones give it just a little bit of bling. The chain wears long and falls perfect on my chest.
Vintage Ring-
This vintage ring is to die for. With an elastic back this ring fits perfectly on every finger. I wear a lot of red so this ring will get a lot of use and will be worn with many outfits.
Vintage Pearls-
These long pearls, which were featured in the video on the website, are a fantastic nod to the 1920's. I wore these long pearls doubled up around my neck for Christmas and felt so classy! I added the broach to them to hold them together and to my shirt on the side and got many compliments. I also find them to look pretty doubled tight as a choker with part hanging down.
Red Vintage Broach-
I wasn't sure how to wear this at first but soon learned you can do so many things with this one little item. Looks fantastic pined on a shirt, added to pearls, added to a velvet as a headband, added to a coat (outerwear jewelry!), even added this to a belt is fantastic. Paired with the ring, and pearls i received i felt very classy in December.
Gold Layered Bracelet-
This simple bracelet is so easy to wear with everything! It fit me perfectly!
Overall i really liked the first box. I found the variety fantastic but also liked how cohesive the pieces were, working great alone or together. I really felt the vintage look with these items and do look forward to more boxes from this jewelry subscription. If you would like to subscribe you can do so here, and if this isn't something you want monthly you can always skip, pause, or just buy one box at a time for $40 (Subscription $36).
