Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics in Hoochie

For the longest time i have been interested in Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar. I had been hearing so many rave reviews, I had to get my hands on at least one. Since i love purple lips i opted to get Hoochie, a blue based medium purple which was not too loud but also is bold enough to make a statement.

The formula of this product is that of a liquid lipstick. OCC Lip Tars are applied via brush and go on almost glossy. It is non-drying and highly pigmented. Only a small drop placed onto the center of the lips and brushed outward was enough for full coverage. Since this product is a wet product i would recommend lining your lips with a matching lip liner before application for a clean look and also to exfoliate your lips since this product will show any lip flaws. The tube itself reminds me very much of MAC Lip Mix. Color wise this shade is a bit more blue than MAC Up The Amp, and richer than Air Born Unicorn by Limecrime. I got about 5 hours of wear but did not like that i had to carry a tube and brush with me fore reapplication.

Overall OCC Lip Tar in Hoochie is a great lip product if you are looking for a medium purple lip product that applys very opaque. While this shade can be blended into other colors because it is a liquid it is quite pretty on it's own. Since it does not bleed you can apply it on its own, and the only downside is having to carry the tube and brush while on the go. You can purchase here!
