Jewelmint Mystery Box November 2012
In my November 2012 Pop Sugar Must Have box there was a promo code for a credit for stylemint which could also be used at Jewelmint. While on the site there was promotion going on for a mystery box with a minimum of four items for $29.95. I had to try this out! Overall i liked the pieces that i received but some pieces looked like something a pre-teen would create as summer camp. If every month there was a minimum of 4 pieces for $29.99 i might actually subscribe.
Overall i don't think i would ever buy a mystery box again. I don't think i will keep this subscription in fact i have skipped both December and January.

Glossy Box December 2012 Glamour, Glitz, and Gloss Review and Swatches
I was super, super psyched about the December 2012 Glossybox. I refrained from posting because i had gotten my friend Krys one as a gift and did not want to spoil the surprise.
As someone who appreciates nice packing i couldn't help adore the wrapping paper that had little gingerbread men, wreaths and even nut crackers on it! Now that i am positing after the holidays, just looking at this paper makes me wish it was Christmas again!
This months Glossy Mag was, in my opinion, just a little more relevant to the products of the box and i enjoyed reading about some current trends and looks. I got some inspiration for the new year.
This month had great products! A nice range, great sizes, products i would enjoy and looked forward to trying. While i am still upset about the whole Illamasqua eye/lip pencil this helped to put them back in my good graces.
List of items!
Ecru New York Cosmetic Hair Care- Acacia Protein Oil
This is one of those all in one products that is hard to believe but you have to try at least once anyway. So i found that when i applied it to my hair my hair was a bit less frizzy and did feel softer to the touch. As for the split ends and reducing the drying time i did not see any significant improvement. I doubt i would ever buy this product, but it was nice to try!
Forest Essentials Luxurious Ayurveda Bath and Shower Oil-
I have always known people that swear by applying baby oil and the like on their skin after a hot shower. I never thought that was a good idea because who wants to get clean and then get all oily? Perhaps it was the whole idea of baby oil because when i tried this grown up product, i found it to be fantastic. It is an oil so there is some grease factor but it does not last long. The skin absorbs this oil fairly fast and allowed me to have super soft skin that smelled lightly of a floral scent. For $22 dollars a bottle this is something i could see myself picking up once every few months as a treat. A little of this product goes a long way so you wont have to worry about running out too soon!
Pleats Please By Issey Miyake-
This soft scent is a great choice for day wear. It isn't heavy and doesn't linger too much on clothes.
Zoya Storm-
When Zoya had their sale a while back i got quite a few products from their winter line. This polish was one of them. While i do wish i would have gotten another polish like Electra, one i did not already have this made a nice gift to my mother. I love this shade because it isn't a common one. Black with lots of fine holographic pigment make this a black that stands out and doesn't appear too gothic on the nails. This is one of the most beautiful blacks that i own and if you can pick this shade up before it is gone, i think you should!
Finally, Glossybox included a nice piece from Jewel Mint (The third subscription box that i know of to do so in the past two months). I received a gold and copper necklace. While not something i would pick out on my own i do like how pretty and elegant it is. I have already worn it three times so obviously it is growing on me. I am currently a Jewelmint Subscriber but i skip most months since nothing appeals to me. If i saw this product i don't think i would buy it because i don't find its worth to be $29.99 but other than price it really is a nice piece.
Overall i think i loved this month more than all of the other months since i have been subscribed. The selection was diverse and i loved how i knew half the brands, some of the products and yet some were still very new to me. Normally i would complain about a company using products or brands over and over but these brands sent out vastly different items to allow me to appreciate them more. This box also contains most of the products i would buy or already buy. So the nail was hit right on the head for me personally. I look forward to more boxes like this since i feel this was more geared toward my personality. Did you get the December box? If so what did you think?
If you would like to sign up for Glossybox it is $21 dollars a month and products are always deluxe sample size or full size. I have seen no small foil packets and the products are mostly relevant. The sturdy box is very reusable and makes storage of makeup so easy! If you would like to sign up you can do so here!

A couple of months back Glossybox featured a product from Heartland Fragrances that i loved so much i bought four more! So when i saw another Heartland Fragrance product i knew it was going to be a high quality product that i would fall in love with. These are 100% pure Epsom bath salts that have a light scent. I put just a little in a warm bath and closed my eyes. While it is no miracle i did feel calmer and more comforted when compared with just a regular bath. My bath is so small i have to sit straight up with my knees locked. Being able to relax in that state is pretty nice. Imagine if you have a nice big bath to lay down in how nice this would be?
This is another brand i am a fan of. I don't style my hair with heat often but it is good to know that when i do my hair is protected.

Pop Sugar Must Have November 2012 Box Review
My first Must Have box! This is a little break from cosmetics but well worth it. I can not tell you how excited i was to receive this box. What is Pop Sugar Must Have. It is a box sent to your door every month for $35 including shipping that includes full sized products from home, fashion, beauty, fitness and more. The fact that it is all full size means you really can't go wrong. It is like receiving a gift of perfectly picked products that you may have never thought about trying on your own! The idea is pretty genious and i have a feeling i am going to love this subscription.
Since i refused to peek at spoilers this was my first look inside my Must Have box!
Upon unwrapping the outer layer of pink tissue paper i was greeted by an info card and some doughnut mix by Stonewall Kitchen While i don't own a donuts pan i was able to make some amazing donuts bites. Covered in sweet cinnamon and sugar they were the perfect treat for the thanksgiving weekend.
Fully unwrapped, the November Pop Sugar Must have box was filled with some of the best must have items for the month! Included was an intro card with a description of each item included.
Gorjana Bracelet-
This is a beautiful bracelet, however i do believe mine is faulty since i am unable to even get it closed to closing along with how the leather feels. I have emailed customer service and they have sent me out a replacement. I do appreciate good customer service so i won't complain about how disappointed i was. This product is listed at worth $55 and while it is a different bracelet than which is listed on the Gorjana site it is beautiful non the less. I hope the replacement is the qaulity that this was supposed to be.
Mor Lip Macaron-
This is such a beautiful lip balm! Mine unfortunately came melted and leaking. I really wasn't having too much luck with this months box! But customer service let me know they are sending me out a replacement so i am pleased. What i was able to try of the melted product it is a soft, non greasy, easy to apply vanilla scented lip balm that takes me right back to French bakery's and fresh macrons. The scent is right on point.
Worth 10$
La Boite Spice Mixes and Recipe Cards-
How did you know i love to cook! These spices smell heavenly. Each little jar has a combination of flavors and spices that will awaken your taste buds to new flavors. I love that there recipe cards included for those who may not know how to use certain spices and it is also helpful for the seasoned cook who just wants to try something new.
Yogalosophy Yoga DVD-
So after the doughnut bites and the delicious meals from the above spices the body needs some sprucing up. I loved this yoga dvd. It doesn't require a lot of space to do these positions nor do you have to be really flexible. Beyond the toning aspects i loved how relaxed i felt while doing this. Even my two year old son was trying to mimic the positions. Anything that i can include my son in on gets an A+ in my book.
Snow and Graham Thank You Cards-
Nothing is more personal then a hand written, personally mailed, thank you note. These aren't holiday themed but are pretty enough to be used for any occasion. Made of sturdy paper and a simple "Thank You" on the cover, I look forward to sending these out after Christmas!
Worth $15
StyleMint/JewelMint Credit-
At first i was a little upset to see this. I cannot fit anything from this site. Upon browsing the MakeUpTalk forum i found out this code can work on jewel mint. I was pretty cheered up considering the condition of the bracelet i received in this box. After a bit of a hassle i got the code to work and got two peices for the price of one due to a bogo sale! Making this one little card worth about $60 !!!!
Blushing Bouquet Ring-
This ring fit perfectly! I thought it was a bit smaller than i expected but beautiful non the less!
Foliage Drop Choker-
I could not fit this necklace. I understand why clothes are made size specific and geared more towards the thin and lanky but why must jewelry be made for only the boney? I had to add a significant amount of extention to this necklace to make it fit.
Also included was a $30 dollar certificate to canvas pop-
I have not used this but i can't wait to get something printed on canvas. So hard to choose what!
Today as i was writing this, i received my replacements from Pop Sugar Must Have. The Mor Lip Macron was not melted and the bracelet was in better condition! Plus there was a hand written note and caramels! Talk about customer service!
If you are interested in monthly subscription with substance , variety, and a fantastic customer service team you really need to sign up for Pop Sugar Must Have. You can receive $5 dollar off your first box with promo code REFERFRIENDS.
