Milan Rowe Lipsticks in Dulce Diva, Viva La Lilac, and Bombshell Review and Swatches

A while back i reviewed some amazing Milan Rowe products. After completely falling in loved with.. well everything! i had to pick up some more. I decided to purchase some beautiful lipsticks one from the intense color line and two from the cream lipstick line. Each lipstick beautiful and vibrant with a great formula to match.

Dulce Diva-
This cream lipstick is so vibrant! Hot pink, highly pigmented and comparable in quality to MAC. This lipstick lasted on my lips for about 5 hours, did not bleed, feather, or show lip flaws. My lips did not feel dry and i loved how bright this lipstick staid. I did not find it to dull during wear. There is no weird scent or after taste. This shade is perfect for girls who love hot pink and don't want to have to build up a color on their lips.

 Viva La Lilac-
This pastel lilac shade part of the intense lip color collection is a beautiful light shade. This lipstick feels like a semi-mat and is highly pigmented. In one swipe you will have full coverage over your lips. This reminds me of a pinker version of D'Lilac by limecrime and is, therefor, more wearable and more flattering for more skin tones. While i love this formula and how it applies because it is light if you have any lip flaws they will show through. My lips were a little flaky before i applied this (i used lip balm but the cold weather and my recent cold has ravaged my lips). I do love this color and how long it lasts (5 hours). No bleeding or feathering (better formula than Limecrime). Is not drying on the lips.

 Bombshell-
Bright orange with gold shimmer undertone. I usually can not pull off a shimmer shade but this orange is just perfect. Against my skin tone it appears a bit red (as do most oranges) so if you have a darker skin tone this will appear more orange and if you have a light skin tone this may appear more red. The gold shimmer makes this lipstick just the right amount of shinny and glowy. Will bring lots of good attention to your lips and is a beautiful fall/summer/spring color. This shade does not bleed, feather, and lasts for about 5 hours. No weird smell or taste. Highly pigmented and formula is comparable in quality to MAC. If you are looking for the perfect orange you have to look no further.

Overall Milan Rowe has amazing lipsticks, lip glosses, pout pastes, shadows, and pigments. If you are looking for perfectly pigmented products in trendy colors with high quality formulas, Milan Rowe is for you!

I have to be honest, i am not a huge fan of lip gloss. I always find so many things wrong with so many different formulas that i often hate the gamble. I have recently discovered a few good brands that i have been sticking to. One brand that i tried recently is Milan Rowe Plush Lipshine.

Milan Rowe Plush Lipshine in Posh Kiss is a high gloss, high shine, mineral base lip gloss. This gloss is everything it is described on the Milan Rowe website. It is highly pigmented and shimmery. Described as a grape pearl shade but i feel this can lean pink/red/purple depending on your skin tone, and lip color. On light skin such as mine with naturally pinkish/red lips this gloss appears to lean in towards a deep pink color. I love how this gloss is a great color all on its own, but i also love that it can be layered over a red, purple, or pink lipstick to give it a richer and more multi-demential shade. Since this product is mineral based it leaves lips feeling soft and moisturized, so this is great if your lips are prone to drying and cracking. I did not find this product to bleed but i did find it to slightly feather. A little clear liner would fix this problem. Has a soft scent, not over powering, non sticky.

Overall Milan Rowe Plush Lipshine in Posh Kiss is ideal If you are looking for a lip gloss which has high pigmentation and can be used on its own or layered over a lipstick to add a pearlesq shimmer. Also a great choice for those fall and winter months were lips can become dry and damage. With this gloss your lips stay smooth and moisturized while looking beautifully glossed. Milan Rowe Pressed Eyeshadow in Dazzle Review and Swatches

My love of bright and dramatic lipstick colors is no secret, and sometimes i don't always know what to pair with certain shades since there is a fine line between looking fresh and trendy and like a box of crayola (though sometimes i really wish i could just wear every color at once!). A good choice to down play the pop of color on the lips is to choose a neutral or monotone eye shade. When i am not going bright, i do love a good nude as well, i want my eyes to pop but a little more classically. Whats a good product for both looks? A smokey, slightly sparkly, eye shadow.

Milan Rowe Pressed Eyeshadow in Dazzle is a rich, pigmented black, with small silver micro shimmer. It is not by any means glittery, its subtle sparkle that adds just a small touch shimmer to the eye without taking away from the shadows rich pigment. If you like your shadow more shimmery after application dab a little extra shadow over your look to deposit extra shimmer. I found this shade soft, but not crumbly. Easy to blend, highly pigmented, minimal fall out, and extremely long lasting. I wore this out, fell asleep, and woke up with my eye shadow in tact. When applied over primer the shimmer is more apparent while when applied on bare skin it isn't as apparent given you choice in how you want this product to look on you.

Look-
I was super tired, so please excuse my tired eye. I am wearing this shadow on my lid with a soft swipe of primer on my lid. I applied this shadow with a small eyeshadow brush to my lid and gently swept it upward to the brow bone. I dabbed on some extra near my lash line to have a little extra shimmer there. I applied mascara and the look was gone. Pair with a dramatic lip color or a nude lip!

Over all i would recommend Milan Rowe Pressed Eyeshadow in Dazzle if you are looking for a fantastic, high pigmented, slightly sparkly, black shadow that is long lasting, easily bendable, and will give you the perfect smokey eye to pair with both dramatic and nude lips. Milan Rowe Star Light Nights Lip Duo

I have to start this post off by saying, i loved this duo so much that i did not want to stop taking pictures of it. That has never happened! Milan Rowe Star Light Nights Lip Duo includes a Plush Lip Shine in Glam Rock and Intense Color Lipstick in Noire. At first glance this appears to be a yellow glitter gloss and black lipstick, and on their own they are quite pretty but when layered they become a unique, and beautiful combination.

Plush Lip Shine in Glam Rock-
This soft gloss which has a bit of a sugar cookie smell. Pleasant but not over powering, leaves no weird flavor on your lips. This gloss can be applied thick or thin and has a non sticky formula. It looks yellow or gold but is actually clear. This product will moisturize your lips while also making them bling, Use this alone or over lipsticks. The applicator is a brush so you don't have to worry about wiping off your lipstick when applying over it. Just dab and swipe slowly as you go across the lips. Glitter gloss can be grown up with sleek mutli-use products such as this.

Intense Color Lipstick in Noire-
Black lipstick, usually a more Gothic shade, can be very classic and elegant looking. A dramatic and bold shade but beautiful none the less. Say goodbye to streaky black lipsticks, this highly pigmented, non streaky, non bleeding, non waxy, shade will leave you with only the dramatic lips you want and none of the issues. This shade applies semi-matte (in my opinion), and lasts for about 4 hours on the lips after which it gets lighter and lighter. This shade felt soft on my lips and i did not find it drying. It has opaque full coverage.

When you combine both Glam Rock and Noire you get a high gloss high glitter lip look. With the explosion of cosmetic companies offering over priced glitter that you have to dab on your lips only to swatch it fall off, this is a fantastic refreshment. Who wants hard, crusty, dry lips when you can have glossy, glittery, high shine kissable lips?? This duo is completely gorgeous and would look fantastic on any skin tone. A tip though, don't just swipe Glam Rock Across lips, it wont deposit as much glitter. I dabbed and swiped as i went.

The first thing i noticed about this product is the packaging. I love the intricate pink design, i think it adds a bit of an elegant feel to it. Details, details, details.

Fiesta Pout Paste-
Pout paste is super shiny, light weight, Lip Gloss. You can apply this with your finger but i have to suggest you apply this with a lip brush for precision and a polished look. Fiesta is a bright hot pink with a bit of fuchsia shimmer. Highly pigmented, can be built up from sheer to full coverage. No strange taste or smell. I loved how smooth this felt! At no point did i find it sticky. Since it is a gloss i only got about 3 hours of wear. What i liked most about this product is the color payoff when applied to bare lips. I think this is great on its own but i think it would also look nice layered over a lipstick such as Dulce Diva to allow the color to last longer. This product will make your lips feel moisturized but not wet. I did not find this product to feather or bleed, nor did i find it to amplify any lip flaws. This product made my lips feel softer than when i put it on so if you have normally dry lips and are worried about it showing through you really wont have a problem with this product.

Over all i would recommend Milan Rowe Fiesta Pout Paste to anyone who is looking for a bright and multidimensional gloss that can be sheer when applied lightly or opaque when built up. Can be layered over lipstick or worn alone. It is a great multi-use product. If you want to try bold and bright colors, Milan Rowe is a great place to turn to. You won't be disappointed.
