Milan Rowe Plush Lipshine in Posh Kiss Review and Swatches

I have to be honest, i am not a huge fan of lip gloss. I always find so many things wrong with so many different formulas that i often hate the gamble. I have recently discovered a few good brands that i have been sticking to. One brand that i tried recently is Milan Rowe Plush Lipshine.
Milan Rowe Plush Lipshine in Posh Kiss

Milan Rowe Plush Lipshine in Posh Kiss is a high gloss, high shine, mineral base lip gloss. This gloss is everything it is described on the Milan Rowe website. It is highly pigmented and shimmery. Described as a grape pearl shade but i feel this can lean pink/red/purple depending on your skin tone, and lip color. On light skin such as mine with naturally pinkish/red lips this gloss appears to lean in towards a deep pink color. I love how this gloss is a great color all on its own, but i also love that it can be layered over a red, purple, or pink lipstick to give it a richer and more multi-demential shade. Since this product is mineral based it leaves lips feeling soft and moisturized, so this is great if your lips are prone to drying and cracking. I did not find this product to bleed but i did find it to slightly feather. A little clear liner would fix this problem. Has a soft scent, not over powering, non sticky.

Overall Milan Rowe Plush Lipshine in Posh Kiss is ideal If you are looking for a lip gloss which has high pigmentation and can be used on its own or layered over a lipstick to add a pearlesq shimmer. Also a great choice for those fall and winter months were lips can become dry and damage. With this gloss your lips stay smooth and moisturized while looking beautifully glossed. If you want to try bold and bright colors, Milan Rowe is a great place to turn to. You won't be disappointed. To see the whole range of shades and products please check out Milan Rowe Cosmetics.

On Trend- Vampy Lips

The days are getting longer, the nights are getting cooler, and the lips are getting darker. That's right dark vampy shades are in. Intense Fuchsia, Warm Cocoa, Deep Plums and Rich Reds. Whether you are bringing out your inner goth or just trying on the trend of the season, there is no denying these colors are beautiful for everyone!

 Here are my picks!

For Warm Cocoa- MAC Film Noir-
This, satin finish, intense brown is perfect for fall. It will allow you to go dark without having your whole face look washed out. I prefer to pair it with gold eye shadow with just a little black eyeliner. This lipstick is dramatic but also not over the top! Non streaky, opaque, and that warm vanilla scent is just the cherry on top.

For a rich red/brown- Lancome Cocoa Couture 292N-
Moisturizing and rich, this dark red brown from the Rouge in Love collection is perfect for those who aren't ready to make the complete brown commitment. Because it is creamy it can be layered for a sheer or deep look. It doesn't take more than two swipes for full coverage. This is non streaky and the tube is very classy. I like to pair this with a light orange eye as stay in the reddish family but not look too matchy.

For intense fuchsia- MAC Rebel-
So you refuse to give up pink for fall? No problem! This fuchsia leans on the pink side and is dark enough to be worn in the fall and still stay on trend. It has both purple and red tones so it could work on any skin tone. This is very similar to Lancome's L'Absolu Crème de Mat in Prune Elixir . For a review and swatches click here. These pictures show this shade as a little more red than the color really is. You can also pick up Wet N Wild 908c, it is also a matte version of this shade.

For deep plum- MAC Young Rapunxel-
Yes, sadly this shade is a limited edition but it really is on point with the vampy lip trend. This creme shade is super moisturizing, super shiny, and has opaque color pay off. This rich deep purple can be paired with shimmery silver eyeshadow or even get matchy with some purple and rose shadows.

Rich red- MAC Rocker-
Give your lips the dark cherry look! This shade allows you bring out your inner vixen while still giving you creative freedom for the rest of your look. Since it isn't too dark you can do subtle or smokey eye for shadow.
