Wet N Wild Fergie Desert Festival Eyeshadow Palette Review and Swatchs
First... weren't these supposed to be limited edition? I love how after the craze of when they were first released they suddenly appeared everywhere from drugstore.com to every store in my area... but were conveniently unavailable when first released. So where was i? Right! This eyeshadow palette, Desert Festival, is part of the Fergie for Wet N Wild collection. This collection became live back in December. While some of the products were quite similar to the Fergie boxes (see here) each one felt a little more bit more classy in terms of packaging, design, and even the color scheme.
Desert Festival has the classic quality of Wet N Wild which is pigmented, a little powdery, mostly easy to blend, and while some have said this palette was chalky or dry i have to disagree. I have no problems applying and each color applied with ease. I loved that there was no fallout and a generous amount of each shade. While the color scheme does remind me of "What happens in Vegas" by L'oreal i actually feel Wet N Wild offers just a little bit more in their palette.
The packaging is a very easy open and click to close container but sturdy enough that it wont open if in your purse. The shadows are fragile and will break if dropped so take care of this palette. It is about the size of the palm of a medium sized hand.
The first shade on the upper left corner is a soft beige that leans a little pink, under it is a golden deep orange. On the upper right side there is a matte bright orange and below that is a chocolate brown with golden micro glitter. The middle is a lighter chocolate brown that is matte. While these shades do not exactly fit with spring it is a great neutral palette and the oranges are bright enough to add to other looks.
Overall this overdue and unavailable palette has a nice range of neutrals and oranges that can be fun to wear. While not seasonally fitting these shades can be incorporated into spring and summer looks. Now that it is more widely available those who missed out on its initial release will be able to get their hands on it at sites like drugstore.com or in their local drugstore. Selling price is $4.99.

Wet N Wild Going In The Wild Limited Edition Palette Review Swatches and Look

First let me start with the packaging. While this palette is like the standard 8 pan palette in that each shadow has their application purpose stamped in, and they are separated into two looks, these pans are against a white background. The palette has a white base unlike the standard black base. The cover also has white flowers printed on it to give it an overall spring feel. I like this little touch. The applicator included has one brush end and one sponge end. While i never find these useful it is nice for someone who does not have a set of brushes. On the back of the palette there are step by step suggestions on how to create a full eye look using the palette. Even though each shade is designated for a specific place on the eye you can really use any of these shades anywhere on the eye and even mix and match from the left side or the right side.
The application of these shades are smooth, easy to blend, minimal fallout, only two shades were a bit too powdery if too much pressure is applied (the lilac and the mint). Overall these shades were well pigmented and i found them to really pop with or without primer. Without primer i got about 4 hours of wear before fading with primer i was able to wear them 7+ without fading. I love how smooth they are on the skin. The nice thing about this palette is if you are not a fan of bright colors there are enough neutrals to allow you to do a soft neutral look with maybe just a pop of color.
The shades on the left start with a smooth, frosted beige for the brow bone, a nice rose frost for the eyelid, a powdery somewhat matte lilac for the crease, and a rich eggplant shade with a bit of purple micro glitter for the defining shade. The glitter does stay put for the most part, but there can be a little bit of it fading, i did not see any on my cheek throughout the day. On the right a frosted champagne is used to highlight the brow bone, the eyelid shade is a powdery matte mint shade, the crease is a chocolate brown but it leans green, and finally the last shade is a deep forest green with a kelly green reflection.

Overall this is a must have spring palette. If you can find this in drugstores it is about $5. I find its quality to be just over this price. From smooth application to pigmentation and color range, this is something i think anyone can find use for in their collection. Plus how adorable is the packaging?

Wet N Wild Mega Last Liquid Lip Colpor in Click On My Hypepink, Cherry On Top, and Back to the Fuchsia Review and Swatches
Remember those really fantastic Wet n Wild megalast matte shades? Though a little drying delivered a punch of pigmentation in a range of fun to conventional colors? Well Wet N Wild tried to raise the bar with their new Wet N Wild Megalast Liquid Lipstick. For it's price tag and touted lasting power i so wanted to love this product, however there were too many let downs for me to fall in love.
This product comes in a pretty standard lip gloss tube. The applicator is a doe foot applicator that applys the slightly thin and almost milky consistency of this liquid lip gloss to the lips. While i was expecting a smooth, almost velvet like application (like Lancome or Limecrime) it was a weird and tacky feeling. As the thin liquid lip color dried it became tacky but not sticky and felt quite weird on the lips. The lighter shade, Click on my Hyperpink, was extremely streaky and any attempt to correct this by applying over the areas of steaks, it left my lips feeling heavily coated. When i smiled after this product dried it felt cakey and cracked on my lips. Once dry this product was staying put. I wiped, rubbed, even used a baby wipe and rubbed hard and only a little came off. This product was a nightmare to remove but i could eat and drink without this product budging. The one benefit of this product is that it does go on shockingly bright and that is hard to find in the drugstore market.
Darker colors like Cherry On Top only had the latter problems. It was not streaky, applied evenly, and only cracked when i smiled. I recommend applying this product while the lips are completely crease free. Smile while applying. This product will still feel a bit cakey but will not have the same issues as Click on my Hyperpink. Oil makes this product easier to remove from the lips. So applying lip gloss under this product may cause it not to last as long on the lips. This product is very drying
Back the the Fuchsia was in the mid range of quality in that it is only mildly streaky, still quite bright, it still felt a bit cakey and had the staying power of both the above colors.
Overall i am not sure i would really recommend this product unless you are looking for a really bright, long lasting, liquid lipstick that drys matte. Colors like red and fuchsia are not that hard to find in these forms so i suggest other brands such as Limecrime and Lancome. Click On My Hyperpink would be a great choice if you want a long lasting, bright baby pink, but you have to know it might be uncomfortable on the lips due to it being so dry.
Can be found here, and at drugstores for $2.99

Fergie To Reflect Shimmer Palette Rewview and Swatches
At the end of 2012 Fergie paired up with drugstore cosmetic giant Wet N Wild. This being, i believe, their second collaboration (first being the look boxes and nail polish) Wet N Wild decided to expand a bit further than the original collaboration(s). This collection included a wide range of lipsticks, polish, eyeshadow, and of course, these To Reflect Shimmer Palettes.
These palettes were first released to Walmart stores. I do not live near one so i waited patiently for them to come to my local Duane Read. They never did. In fact after waiting and checking for so long by the time i found them at Wallgreens (a mile walk away from my house) everything was sold out. I was able to purchase these on eBay (for about 3 time's their price in the store). While i love how exclusive and interesting limited edition collections are, people who live near slacking stores really miss out on the opportunity to get some great products.
What i will say about this formula is that they are very close to MAC Mineral Skin Finish. If you have been hesitant to purchase one from MAC or you did not feel they were worth the money these are excellent dupes. They are soft but not powdery, they leave a reflective glow with a hint of color on the skin, there is a nice range between highlighter to bronzer. Each one can work on all different skin tones but in different ways. These last for about 6 hours on the face but there is some fading.
The three colors that are offered are Rose Campaign Glow which is a very light soft cream color with soft pink swirled throughout. This can be used as a highlighter or as an all over skin finish on girls with lighter skin tones and can be used on darker skin tones if blended out with another color or used to soften a shade (such as Carnival In Rio). Rose Golden Goddess is a brown color swirled with cream and bronze. This shade applys a bit orange and would be good for olive skin tones and warm tan skin tones. This medium range shimmer palette can be used as a light bronzer on lighter skinned individuals and as a blush or highlighter on darker individuals. Lastly, Carnival In Rio is a tan swirled with dark chocolate brown and a greyed dark taupe. This color can apply like a warm bronzer on lighter skin, as a bronze or contour on medium skin, and as a bronzer blush on darker skin.

Swatches-
Overall i really did like the texture and application of this product. The simple yet versatile range of each product made them similar in quality to MAC Mineral Skin Finish. Reasonable price range.
The only downside is their availability.

Wet N Wild Eyeshadow Trio Palettes Review and Swatches
I have literally put this off for forever! Please excuse the low quality swatches as i did this before i figured out how to get a good looking swatch. These shadows are powdery but pigmented, a bit soft so there is fallout. They are fragile and break very easily. While not the best drugstore shadow these trios are great for everyday looks. Even over primer these shadows will only last about 4-5 hours. This is a good amount of time if you are wearing them to school but if you prefer a higher quality shadow and wear this isn't the best choice for you

Overall these products get major points for their value. If you were thinking of trying out a new shadow color this would be a cheap and easy way to try a new color before making a more expensive purchase. These shadows are great for everyday wear. If you are a novice the instructions on the shadows are very helpful and these colors are complimentary. While not up to par with higher quality items they are nice to have or grow your makeup collection with.
