Back in March on MAC's facebook,
MAC gave the option for customers and fans to vote on their favorite discontinued colors to be brought back in a collection called
By Request. This small collection which started to be released on August 6th contained lipstick, lip gloss, and shadows. While the lip gloss and shadows did catch my eye, i chose to splurge on the lipsticks. I am so glad i did.

The three By Request lipstick colors to be released were Candy Yum-Yum a bright, neon, hot, pink, matte lipstick that just screams fabulous, Moxie a bright, medium, matte pink, and a deep, rich, glitter infused, red named Rocker. These shades are perfectly bold, fun, and very pigmented. These apply soft, smooth, have the signature vanilla scent, last for about 4 hours, and all are very opaque. My only complaint is that they should have included Heroine (Yes, i know the voting had been closed when it was released but i feel they should have extended the availability of that color)
Candy Yum-Yum-
My favorite pink shade of my MAC collection! It reminds me of the pink, plastic, lipstick my mother would buy me from the dollar store, i believe the brand was
tinkerbell, and i used to think it was just the prettiest color in the world, and then it became real when MAC released this gem.

Moxie-
This pink is a bit more toned down from Candy Yum-Yum. It is good for occasions where bright, neon pink just doesn't fit. It is also a good pink for fall because of how it is a bit more muted.

Rocker-
This deep red is so rich. The subtle glitter infused in this glitter gives it just enough sparkle up close but is still dark and deep from a distance. Think of it as a red for Goths who have a glitter vibrant side!

While most of these colors are no longer available and i am late in posting this i still wanted to share it with you. Most of these colors are available via eBay and they are worth adding to your collection.
