L'Oreal Project Runway Limited Edition Pressed Eyeshadow Quad in The Mystic's Gaze and The Muse's Gaze Review and Swatches

I don't know about you, but i kind of love Project Runway. I have been watching it since it was on Bravo. I have loved (most) of the Project Runway collaboration with L'Oreal for Electric Fantasie. These new palettes, The Artsy Muse and the Wise Mystic, really caught my eye but i did pass on the more neutral ones, The Enchanted Queen and The Seductive Temptress. It is really nice to see more and more trendy, bright, fun, artistic, shades coming to drugstores by classic brands! It is about dang time!

The Artsy Muse- The Muses Gaze
This palette combines both a neutral gold and a soft peach with a light aqua blue and a rich jewel tone emerald with micro green glitter. It really does have an artsy feel and the colors, while common, are put together a little uncommon. These shades compliment each other and blend easily. They aren't as pigmented as i had hoped, but they are easy to build and don't need to be caked on. These shades aren't really soft so they don't crumble and have minimal fallout. These shades are shimmery and the gold is a bit metallic.

The Wise Mystic- The Mystic's Gaze
Jewel tones are perfect for fall. Richer, deeper, shades of our favorite colors from spring and summer. I love how this palette doesn't go too bright or too dark. This quad is also a little hard so it blends easily but you may need to press a little harder or swipe your brush a few more times across it to really pick it up. There is minimal fallout and pretty good pigmentation. You can use all three to create a look or use one at a time. The medium toned purple, medium cerulean, blue based green, and navy, all compliment each other and layer nicely as well to create color combinations like lilac shimmer navy!
