Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color

Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color in Ionic Indigo

Have you been looking for a nail polish that is different? Sick of glitters, mattes, and crackle? Well have i got a product for you (said in obnoxious infomercial tone except i really genuinely am excited!) Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color. I was so excited to receive this product complimentary to test through Influenster’s VoxBox program. Whats a VoxBox you say? A VoxBox is a box filled with products that you can test out and give your opinion on, generally spreed the word if you like the products, check out Influenster.com for more information.

Now this nail polish is different in every way, its not a re-release like crackle, Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color is completely new. You can actually create beautiful 3D nail effects in just a few seconds. How you wonder? Well this nail polish is infused with metallic particles and by holding a magnet over the nail polish it begins to rise (so awesome if you are a science freak like me!). The design is wavy and shiny. You can learn all about this product and the available colors through www.sallyhansen.com.

I love this nail polish because of how differnt it is. Its not something you see everyday. The range of colors is great as well. Sally Hansen didnt just stick with gold and silver, they included blue, red, purple, copper, and even green! Seriously who doesnt want to be shiny in the summer. Its too hot out to wear too many accessories so why not let your nails be your accessory.

To use this polish is simple. Apply a base coat, i like Sally Hansen X-tream wear in Invisible. Its a clear polish but it works just like a base/top coat if not better. After that i apply a thin coat of Magnetic Nail Color (Make sure to roll the bottle in between your hands, shaking causes bubbles in the polish when you are applying it!). When applying the second coat make sure you go nail by nail. Apply a thick coat, hold magnet over for 10 seconds, next nail, apply thick coat.. etc. The great thing about the magnet in the cap is it has a little ridge so you can rest it on your cuticle! Sally Hansen pays attention to details! Once dry apply a top coat and your set. For extra fun try using your fridge magnets to see what kind of designs you can come up with. Different magnets create different effects!
