Quaker Soft Baked Banana Nut Bar
As a busy mom, homemaker, blogger, and student i often eat on the run or once my son is asleep so when i got the oppertunity to try a Quaker Soft Baked Banana Nut Bar that i received complimentary for testing and review purposes from Influenster, i was a little excited. I say only a little because i haven't had too many good experiences with cereal/oatmeal/granola bars. I tend to be a picky eater when it comes to products that have a breakfast-y feel to them, so when i realized i actually liked these bars, i was pleasantly surprised.
When i first open a Quaker Soft Baked Banana Nut Bar i felt like i was at a bakery (and i used to work at one!). It smelled fresh like homemade banana bread. From the first bite i felt like i was eating something completely unhealthy (but its completely good for you!). Quaker Soft Baked Banana Nut Bar's are sweet but not too sweet, chewy but the nuts add a nice amount of crunch, and the flavor is authentic to banana nut bread.
These Quaker Soft Baked Banana Nut Bar are made with real bananas and almonds. They have 5g of Fiber, 20% of daily value of 5 B vitamins, 6g of protein and only 3.5 grams of fat per serving! These nutrients and vitamins will help you start your day right. I love having them in my purse. If i get hungry or my son has the munchies these are great to snack on. I love to bring them to the play ground since when my son runs around he wants something thick to fill him up but something that tastes good, and this is the perfect combination. I also like to eat a Quaker Soft Baked Banana Nut Bar before a work out. It gives me the energy to power through an hour of bike and aerobic workout. When i start school these will be the perfect snack to have before lab since they can fit in my bag and feel like a baked good (that i would never have time to make!)
Want to pick these up?
