Sinful Colors Professional in Clementine Review and Swatches

Sinful Colors Professional in Clementine

So i took a long walk to the bank the other day, and surrounding the bank is a few drugstores that i don't normally frequent such as Rite Aid and Walgreen's. Rite Aid is currently having a sale where all Sinful Color Professional nail polish as %50 off! That means that they are only a dollar. I picked up a few but i am going to focus on this really amazing orange for this entry. For those of you who aren't close to a Rite Aid your in luck, Walgreen's is having the same promotion on their website so please check it out if you like this color or are interested in trying any of the other colors offered by this brand.

Clementine is bright summery orange. It is not neon so it will transition well into the fall. It has a slight red undertone but will never be mistaken for red (a problem i have for many so called orange cosmetics). This applies smoothly and opaquely. One swipe is all it took to achieve the color on my nails. I did use a base coat and a top coat (Sally Hansen X-tream Long Wear in Invisible) to insure this color does not chip. I would suggest you do the same because without these coats this polish will chip in a day. The quality is not amazing but it can last longer with a few extra steps. The price also allows you to try a large range of colors to find your perfect shade.

On my accent nail i used gold by Milani 531 Gold. This polish is a clear polish with large pieces of flat gold glitter. It is great for using lightly to make a polka dot effect or heavy for a thick shiny gold coat. Milani can be bought in drugstores or online here.

Oh and i have to give some credit to my boyfriend. I was torn between two oranges summer peach and clementine and he said clementine would be the better choice! Sometimes men just know whats up.
